Government Announces Short Sale Guidelines

The following are some new guidelines announced for short sales.

The U.S. Treasury Department announced new guidelines this week designed to make short sales go more smoothly.

President's Message

Fellow BCAR Members,

As I write my last message as your 2009 BCAR President, I have so many people to thank.  First and foremost, I want to thank each member for his or her patience and support as our leadership made several bylaw recommendations and policy changes that promoted more transparency and financial integrity to our association.  I also want to thank the membership for its patience and understanding as we worked through leadership changes in staff at the association office.

The month of November 101 Stone Chimney Place held several events:

  • Brunswick Electric’s Annual Employee Training Day here for the second year.
  • Cape Fear Farm Credit held its annual customer appreciation dinner with over 125 attendees.
  • Bill Clark Homes Thank You Recognition Luncheon for the REALT0RSŪ that participated in their sales promotion.
  • The Woman’s Republican Party fundraiser with over 100 attendees.
  • The Brunswick County Home Builders monthly networking meeting.
  • The 2nd annual Brunswick County Economic Development dinner with 150 attendees.
  • Brunswick Community Hospital’s Physicians Social.
  • And one November wedding.
