Over 200 were in attendance at the "Grill & Chill" General
Membership Meeting in the new Association
banquet facility,
101 Stone Chimney Place. Guest Speaker, Jim
Bradshaw from the Brunswick County Economic Development
Commission gave a presentation on growth and development
in the county. Door
prizes were given by our Diamond Sponsor,
First Brunswick Mortgage, to two lucky attendees!
Additional door prizes were donated by Chase Home
Finance ($100 gift certificate to Omaha Steaks),
Security
Savings Bank (a beach bag full of goodies), CARR
Insurance (a bag full of goodies and a beautiful flower
basket), COSTCO (2
beach towels, 2 beach chairs, 2 cookbooks, and 2 flower
arrangements). Shallotte Vision care donated a
pair of sunglasses valued at over $150 as another raffle
item. The South Brunswick Inner-Church Food Bank was the
charity that received a donation from the 50/50 drawing.
Everyone who attended learned a little something
about their fellow members as a result of the Beach
Bucket game. Many thanks to all who attended!
